Julie & Timofei are one of those atypical, colorful and intensely lively couples that leave a lasting impression.

Last June, I decided to contact Julie, who I’d been following on Instagram for a while. I really liked her world, and the raw sensitivity and rebellious poetry that emanated from this little tattooed twenty-four-year-old woman. With a degree in modern literature, this seasoned photo model and lover of the written word also has her head full, as she is currently working on her first book, Signé : la Nuit, a collection of thoughts emerging from her somnambulistic wanderings and nocturnal reflections. Her tattoos reveal bits and pieces of herself, a half-open window onto her essence: spleen, art, baby, ultraviolence… so many words engraved in indelible ink beneath her skin that she wears proudly as a claim to herself, a cry to the world around her.

Timofei is a digital marketing consultant. Together, they have always lived in Strasbourg, but dream of new horizons and plan to move to Bali by the end of the year.

With these two, it was one of those obvious, simple, fluid sessions… An alchemy and sensuality that bursts through the lens and needs no words to transport…
