Ultraviolet radiation, also known as “black light” because it’s generally invisible to the naked eye.
Invisible, intangible, unfathomable, like the magnetism between Helen & Josh, two magnets inexorably drawn to each other.
Let me propel you into the timeless cocoon of Helen & Josh, who longed to marry in Paris, the city of their hearts, the city steeped in history where it all began.
It was a summer’s day when their eyes met for the first time, on the corner of Rue de Turennes and Rue des Francs-Bourgeois.
Love at first sight was instantaneous, but Josh was just passing through Paris and Helen had recently moved to the capital.
Yet they can’t bring themselves to walk away, not to give a chance to what they see as the meeting of a lifetime.
In the months that followed, they kept up a steady rhythm of virtual and epistolary exchanges, and made regular round-trips between Paris and London to give themselves time to discover and get to know each other.
Time to love each other.
The beginnings of a cross-border love affair only strengthened the alchemy and the obvious, until that sunny April day when their union became eternity.
Modernity, glamour and intimacy were the watchwords of this editorial elopement, which took place in the heart of the capital in a Haussmann apartment.
The scenography, imagined by Salma Kagnali of Jasmin & Peonies, subtly blends the eggplant color brought by the floral arrangements created by Virginie Martel of Les Jolies Feuilles, which contrast with the white, beige and silver tones, and the organic materials we placed sparingly in the table decor (blackberries, mushrooms, sea salt,…).
Sublimated by Laure Baruch, Helen wore a short wedding gown by Mannda Jolie bride, and a long gown by Meryl Suissa, as well as delicate, resolutely feminine jewelry by Amarnam.
A black tuxedo by L’Apiéceur was worn by Josh.
